done with my 300 hrs..$BlogItemTitle$>
Monday, August 24, 2009 was my last day of practicum at Italianni's Trinoma. It was a sad day for me. I came to love the people there especially the BOH team that's why leaving was hard. Just like what i felt when i left Fraser Place.
[drama? :P] In my 6 weeks of training at the store, i learned so many things and they trained me so well. The four corners of the kitchen at Italianni's made me realize how much i wanted to be a chef!:) That's my dream! That's what i wanted to become someday! Thanks to all the regulars and my co-practicumers who helped and taught me everything that i must learn. I know all of this would greatly help me in my future career.
I'm gonna miss all of them. I'm gonna miss the Pantry Station, my home for six weeks. Making appetizers, salad, pizza and desserts was a fulfilling duty. Thank you Italianni's for the wonderful experience. :)

it's already my 3rd week in italianni's :D (i started last july 13)
for me, italianni's was the right resto. you'd really learn a lot and they will train you well. As for me, I'm assigned at the Pantry Station where appetizers, desserts, salad and pizzas are being made. :) i super love my station!Haha. and now i can proudly say that i have already memorized some of the recipes in the pantry. onti nlng tlga.haha. One of the regulars even told me, "pwede na pla iwanan si jave mag-isa sa pantry eh." ..oha!oha!.. :D actually these past few days, i'm often left alone in the station so i was always the one doing the orders. kya cguro namemorize ko agad ung mga recipes.haha. of course, thanks to all of them for teaching me all the things that i needed to learn. i hope eventually i can memorize ALL the recipes. :P
one more month to go!aja!! ^^

unforgettable experience$BlogItemTitle$>
So much have happened in my last 2 days at Fraser Place. Things which i never expected to happen. Both good and bad things. But i don't wanna elaborate more on the bad side of the story. I just wish the issue would eventually die and people won't say a word about it anymore. though i doubt it would happen. The exec. housekeeper even said to us that we are already part of the Fraser History!haha.. at least now, despite of what happened, we can already laugh and joke about it. :P Now, i just want to remember all the good things that happened to me in my one and a half month of stay...
I really learned a lot from my experiences in the company, both in the engineering and housekeeping department. All the supervisors and employees have imparted me with much knowledge which i know would be a big help for me in the future. I have no regrets being placed at Fraser. If given the chance, i would extend my stay coz i really love the working environment there. And i really miss working with all the engineers and housekeepers. They are the reason why everyday i'm always excited to go to work. :) In a span of 1-2 weeks, i'm already comfortable working with all of them and they became my friends. I'm gonna miss them so much now that my training is finished. [my last day was sunday, june 14]
I hope they won't forget us. coz i'm pretty sure i won't forget all of them! =)

ang gulo gulo ko!$BlogItemTitle$>
Today, our practicum coordinator went to Fraser Place to visit us and at the same time, to talk to the hr officer regarding our plan to shorten our ojt there. now, all things are set. our letter already has a signature of our adviser. at least now, the hr can make our new contract!:) HOWEVER, after that talk with ma'am and knowing that we can already leave, i got confused again if i still wanted to leave Fraser. yes i still want to have a resto ojt but i'm thinking if now is the right time to have it or i still need longer hotel experience. but since everything's ok now, i can't change plans anymore. pag sinabi ko sa hr na nagbago desisyon ko bka mapatay nila ko!haha.joke lng!
So i'll just stick to my plan which is to leave right after finishing my 300 hrs. last 2 days then i'm out at Fraser. aaww.so sad! :( maybe part of the reason why i don't wanna leave is because of my new found friends there. i'm really happy being with them. and thinking of leaving them and not seeing them everyday makes me sad..
well, it's ok. i may say goodbye for now but it's not yet the end. i'll make sure to visit them if i have time! :)

Next week will be our last week at Fraser Place Manila. but actually, i'm not sure if it will really be our last week since we haven't pass yet our letter to the HR that we will shorten our time to 300hrs. they said they cannot make the new contract without the letter.. ugh! we already have a letter, the only thing we're waiting for is the signature of our practicum coordinator!
e ang hirap hirap nun i-contact!! sh*t! what are we gonna do?? what if they won't allow us to leave? noooo!!
